Arockia Alexander was born in Panayur, Sivagangai District, Tamil Nadu. He developed a keen interest in the Tamil language at a young age. Hence he started writing poems, collecting books and engaging in social activities earlier on in his life. It is noteworthy that he has never missed to attend the Chennai Book Fair since 1999. He has been working at NewGen for the past 15 years. Interestingly, this is his first book although he has been working in the publishing industry for two decades.
